The world will come to terms with it self unless it goes under ‘major transformations’ on how food is grown and distributed reported the United Nations on Wednesday.
Many concerns are growing through out the world, it is estimated around 10 million mouths will need to be feed by the 2050.
The U.N also stated concern that world leaders might fail to end world hunger by 2030 if urgent steps are not taken and initiated at the moment
Lorenzo Bellu, senior economist with the FAO of the U.N, said additional annual investments of $265 billion would be needed through 2030 to keep the hungry fed. While this is the bare minimum, more funds may be needed to keep up with the growing population.
The time to act is now.
